N.F.L. Commissioner Roger Goodell has decided to reduce the suspension of Broncos receiver Brandon Marshall from 3 games to 1 game. Marshall appealed the suspension last week at the league offices in New York. Marshall will now miss only the season opener Monday night September 8 in Oakland. He will be fined a little over $52,000 by the league. His suspension starts Saturday and end September 9.
