OLD COLORADO CITY, Colo. -- Two people escaped injury when a huge piece of an Old Colorado City building crashed to the ground Friday afternoon.Colorado Springs authorities said a 25-foot piece of roofing broke off and fell from the Michael Garman Galleries building.The debris almost hit two people walking in front of the building, but they quickly moved out of the way.
Firefighters believe the 100-year-old building is structurally sound. Investigators are looking into what caused the roofing to break away from the building.
