COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. -- A manhunt in Colorado Springs ends Friday night, six hours after a shootout near the Citadel Mall.

Police arrested Jason Angel, 29, and another woman at a 7-Eleven store.

Angel is accused of shooting at a couple sitting inside their car Friday afternoon. The couple were unhurt.

Police said Angel fled to his apartment on East Platte Avenue, which led to a four-hour-long standoff.

SWAT officers stormed the apartment building only to find that Angel had escaped, they said.

A few hours later, officers found Angel and another woman, believed to be his wife, hiding in the convenience store.

Angel faces charges of attempted first-degree murder.
