DENVER -- A cold front pushed across eastern Coloradon Thursday, bringing a 30 to 40 degree drop in temperatures. Those cold temperatures will linger through the early morning hours on Friday. You will also run in to some areas of fog on Friday morning. There is a *Dense Fog Advisory* in effect for Northern El Paso County until 8 a.m.As the front moves east, the skies will clear and warmer weather will return to the plains. Temperatures will be close to the 49 degree average on Friday afternoon and even warmer through the weekend.
Moisture was a welcome sight on Thursday, but it did little to help the big picture. Denver is now over 5 inches below average for the year.
