Police Say Suspect Was Standing Over Woman With Pants Down

BOULDER, Colo. -- Police in Boulder have arrested a 30-year-old man accused of breaking into a woman's apartment and standing over her with his pants down as she slept.Police suspect Matthew Grabowski entered the apartment through an unlocked door or a window that had its screen removed.The woman told police she woke up around 2 a.m. Sunday after the suspect touched her leg.
She described the suspect as intoxicated and said he called her Jenny. When she told him no one named Jenny lived there he turned and ran, she said.A roommate bumped into the suspect as he was running and tried to talk to him, but he did not stop. The victim and her roommate were able to give officers a detailed description of the intruder.Officers arrested Grabowski a short time later at Baseline Road and Broadway Street. He had a pair of the victim's underwear and a bra in his pocket, police said.Grabowski was booked into jail on charges of second-degree burglary and attempted sexual assault.Neither of the women in the apartment knew Grabowski.
