DENVER -- Doctors are finding that it's not only food and exercise that may affect your weight.De-cluttering rooms in your home can help increase your chances of losing weight. First magazine recently spoke to doctors about the connection between clutter and over-eating. Clutter is a constant reminder of tasks left undone and problems unsolved. Unneccessary clutter in the bedroom blocks alpha brain waves that are associated with the onset of sleep. According to researchers at the University of Chicago, fatigue leads to an increase in appetite stimulating hormones causing women to up their food intake by up to 1,000 calories. Disorganization in the kitchen causes a similar over-stimulation of the stress related hormone cortisol. Pamela Peeke, Ph.D. links the surge of appetite increasing cortisol to overeating in the room where food is most readily available. By simply reorganizing and tidying up your bedroom or kitchen, you can decrease your stress levels and better your chances of losing weight.We've all heard of pollution, but have you ever heard of electropollution?
