The Movie
The Academy Award-winning team of actor Tom Hanks and director Robert Zemeckis ("Forrest Gump," "Cast Away") reunite for "The Polar Express," an inspiring adventure based on the beloved Caldecott Medal children's book by Chris Van Allsburg.

"The Polar Express" tells the story of a doubting young boy who takes an extraordinary train ride to the North Pole -- embarking on a journey of self-discovery that shows him that the wonder of life never fades for those who believe.

Combining classic storytelling with cutting-edge filmmaking, "The Polar Express" debuts a highly advanced version of motion capture technology developed and tailored to meet Zemeckis' uncompromising vision and is the first feature ever to be shot entirely in this format.

Rated G, "The Polar Express" opens in theaters nationwide Nov. 10

The Contest
One grand-prize winner will be selected at random to receive a "Polar Express" prize package, which includes an "Art of Polar Express" book, a custom conductor's stopwatch, a train travel picnic case, a thermos, a set of children's "Conductor" pajamas, a baseball cap, a travel journal and a pocket T-shirt.

Four runners-up will be selected at random to receive a set of children's "Conductor" pajamas, a baseball cap, a travel journal and a pocket T-shirt.

"The Polar Express" contest runs Oct. 20 through Nov. 17.

The winners' names and cities of residence will be posted on the @ The Movies contest winners' page. Winners will be notified by e-mail and will receive their prizes by mail.
