I joined KMGH Denver's 7 NEWS as a general assignments reporter in November 2005. Since joining the team here, I have covered a number of stories from wildfires to the Blizzard of '06.

A little about me: I am a Colorado native and a 1998 graduate of Colorado State University in Fort Collins. Go Rams! Before moving back to Colorado -- I worked as a reporter for KGWN NewsChannel 5 in Cheyenne, Wyoming, KCBD NewsChannel 11 in Lubbock, Texas and most recently for WFMY News 2 in Greensboro, North Carolina.

I love my job for a number of reasons. I’ve been a news hound since the tender age of 10, and it seems my fascination with this business only grows stronger as I grow older. I have a passion for writing, and I enjoy the thrill of daily deadline pressure. It's a big responsibility to gather a great deal of information and craft a story that grabs your attention with clarity, style and fairness.

News can be crazy, terrible and fast-paced. But, it can also be heart-warming, uplifting and life-changing. I have met some of the most amazing people while on the job, and I am grateful for that.

In my spare time I help my Dad, my brother and my uncle on the family farm in Eaton. I also love attending Nugget games at Pepsi Center. And of course, I enjoy skiing.
